BXNord: de noordelijke wijk van Brussel omvormen tot een centrum voor inclusie
BXNord project: Naar een inclusieve en aantrekkelijke noordelijke wijk
The Up4North association, in collaboration with the Brussels Region and the Secretary of State for Urban Planning, Ans Persoons, has launched the “BXNord” campaign. The aim is to transform Brussels' Northern Quarter into an inclusive and pleasant place to live within the next ten years. The campaign highlights the potential of the Espace Nord and aims to make it a central location in the European capital.
Modernisering en uitdagingen in de noordelijke wijk van Brussel
The BXNord project aims to reinvent Brussels' Quartier Nord, known for its office towers and railway station. The initiative aims to transform this area into a socially inclusive, sustainable and innovative district, where it's good to work, live and relax. Nearly 2,000 homes will be built around the Gare du Nord station, integrated into mixed-use projects such as Nor.Brussels and ZIN. However, some critics point out that the transformation should include more public housing to meet the needs of existing residents.
